Join me for a relaxing and healing guided self-hypnosis session on the afternoon on Sunday, 5. November. Together in a safe and nurturing environment we will explore the depths of your mind and re-establish your connection with the child within.
During this guided sef-hypnosis we will use the tools of gentle progressive muscle relaxation, positive suggestion and visualisation to take you to a deeper state of relaxation (hypnosis), where you can safely get to know your Inner Child again.
Our Inner Child is the part within us that loves to play, cry, and be touched and loved. It's the raw emotional state that can hold us back in our adulthood due to our early-formed beliefs about being worthy of love and being good enough (or not being good enough nor worthy of love). If our Inner Child becomes frightened because of negative events in our childhood, it hides away in our unconscious mind where it influences in our decision making and reactions in our adulthood. Have you ever wondered why something makes you feel in a way you can't explain?
Our Inner Child only knows how to be and it expresses itself in many different emotional ways. Here are some of the questions that relate to different emotions our Inner Child experiences occasionally:
- When did you last laugh from your belly?
- How often do you rebel like a naughty child?
- Do you often feel isolated and lonely, even amongst others?
- Do you find anger easy to express?
- Do you drink to add fun to your life?
- Are you frightened to be out of control?
- Do you feel safe in intimate situations?
You will be guided and supported throughout the session, and should you want to share and ask questions about your experience there will be a time after the relaxation for you to do so.

On the day you just need to arrive on time, there are blankets, mats and cushions at the studio. However, please wear comfortable loose clothing, and should you wish to bring your favourite pillow or blanket, you are welcome to do so.
